F rom quirky, stripped-back techno injected with soul to deep, dub-inflected excursions, Deepchild has earned himself a reputation as groundbreaking producer, respected DJ and electrifying live-performer. Based in Berlin, the Australian artist has performed at many of the world’s most respected electronic music institutions: legendary gatherings like Detroit’s own Movement Festival and EXIT in Serbia, and the cream of European and American nightclubs – including numerous appearances at Berlin’s legendary Berghain and Tresor, amongst hundreds of others. Well loved and highly acclaimed for his dynamically personal take on techno and house, Deepchild’s passion for exploration of the form precedes him – reflected by an irrepressible fanbase and glowing critical praise.

A demanding international tour schedule, his chart-topping new album Neukölln Burning, and a string of successful 12-inches have solidified Deepchild’s reputation as a pioneering underground producer. Playing shows alongside the likes of Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet, Jeff Mills, Seth Troxler, Abe Duque, Jesse Rose, Dixon, Sebo K, M.A.N.D.Y, Ewan Pearson and Will Saul, accompanied by remix work for legendary producers New Order and Booka Shade have earned respect and admiration from peers and fans alike. His original productions and remixes have featured on labels such as Trapez, Thoughtless, Highgrade, Resopal, Anabatic, Get Physical, Freerange and BEEF Records.

The launch of his new online radio podcast series, Diversions, a tour of the US in early 2013, brand-new releases and a string of shows during the upcoming European summer make the coming year a very busy and exciting time for Deepchild. When he’s not on the road touring, he’ll be back in the studio in Berlin, tuning the dials to create his signature seductive sounds.
